Totally makes sense as an approach, and on page after page there is simple common sense backed by rigorous science. (It can be a bit repetitive in some of the points it makes, though). I've been "intermittently fasting" for 3 months now, and have lost 14 kilos in that time, with no bad effects (apart from some weakness at the beginning, which is entirely normal as the body adjusts). I plan to go on to lose 20 kg, and this is totally doable, and sustainable afterwards. A realistic and viable way to lose weight, keep it off and improve health, which can ve life-changing.

Fung explains things easily and very well, in a non-scientific language. Jimmy Moore's experience with fasting is helpful. I started to do intermittent fasting and it is good to learn from other people's mistakes. The book is also very well organised. I think the recipes at the end are not useful, but I suppose it is not bad having them for someone who wants to know what to eat for being in ketosis.

Fantastic book - I got it on Kindle almost finished it the same day. Totally makes sense as an approach, and on page after page there is simple common sense backed by rigorous science.
