It is a small piece of black plastic. Plus a cardboard wrapper around 3 detailing pads. It is the Plastic knob that you are buying. If you have any problem holding pads for hand detailing, arthritis, just plain clumsy, which ever, it is a pricey piece of plastic at Halfords. This supplier managed to trim the price nicely. Oh, and the lump of plastic; it's worth every penny. There are plenty of people on Amazon selling all three of these different pads. The ones supplied are good too. Well made and will bear a lot of reuse.
