Review: great DVD player (10 years use) - it's been 10 years since I bought this player and it's still working flawlessly nothing has gone wrong and can fault it it's used on average 2 times a week so it's been well used for the 10 years! I am just about to purchase another for using in a bedroom the price is still reasonable (I paid £30😊 10 years ago) it's plays all the discs just perfect the usb port for playing external content works flawless the software works well nice and simple and remote control is really good functionality. 5✨✨✨✨✨ for build quality ease of use and reliability 👍

A: Yes, Red and White L/R Audio and Yellow Line Out Video and Orange Digital Out Coaxial. I've got it attached to my daughter's TV using HDMI, great wee DVD player.

**Q: What do I need to connect it to my TV? Is it included in the box or do I need to buy separately?**
A: You need to have an available HDMI socket on your TV and you need to buy a an HDMI cable from Amazon also to connect the two. You only need an inexpensive one - see Amazon basics. After that it is just plug and play - after you have selected the HDMI outlet as the source from your TV controler.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great little DVD player

Overall the DVD player works extremely well and plays my films in very good quality on my HD TV. The player is very easy to set up, simply plug in to the power supply and connect a hdmi lead (not included) to the TV. Importantly the next step you should complete is to set it up properly on the menu BEFORE inserting a disc into the player. If you haven't gone through the setup menus and chosen the correct options for your type of TV and sound system then you are likely to find the output disappointing. The picture quality playing my dvd's is the best I've ever seen, clearly the up-scaling technology works very well. The player itself is small, looks good and I like the inclusion of a light to show it's turned on (I'm aware this is a feature increasingly missing on dvd players). Based on everything I've said I'm sure you're wondering why I haven't given it 5 stars. Well that's for two main reasons. Firstly the controller, whilst it has all the buttons you'd want and is small, I do find the buttons themselves to be of poorer quality than the other controllers I own. You shouldn't have to use it too often though so this isn't a huge problem. The second issue I'd note is the price of the item. Whilst some reviewers think this is cheap I can't help but feel that it's more expensive than it needs to be, especially considering that for only £15 more you can get a Sony blu-ray DVD player with SMART functions.
