As I refuse to take the drugs designated for the condition, after watching their effects ruin the latter years of my mother's life, I had to wake up and do some research. My reading resulted in me taking much interest in Vitamin K2 MK-7 such that I decided to give it a whirl. I'm glad I did. Each day I take Vit D3 +++ and a high dose of Vit C and to this I have added my new friend. I regard it as the gate keeper, it's job being to direct D & C to my BONES and not to the soft tissues of my arteries. After my last dispiriting bone scan results I just had to keep taking the pills and sit back to see what happened. WELL! Good news! My consultant was surprised and pleased with my improving condition and - as I had supplied him with a list of what I was taking as supplements - asked me WHY I had decided to take Vit K MK-7. I told him what I had read about it and that if other countries were using it with good effect, that was good enough to for me! Turned out he had just been to an international conference on the subject and was extremely interested by what he'd learned.
