The amount you can collect with both scoops is large and so much better than the smaller versions of this idea.There is a minor issue when using heavy gloves i.e. it is easy and secure when the scoops are on your hands with gloves on but if you have to stop to do other work then the gloves are better removed carefully from the handholds or they catch and jam. It is not a big deal and difficult to see a way around it. I have two large beech trees in my garden which shed a huge amount of leaves each winter. In Spring I need to spend about three days, raking, blowing and dumping the leaf load by scattering them within the forest where I live.These grabbers make short work of the pick-up phase; two of three grabs and the barrow is full. It really does help to shorten the whole process considerably. As others point out they are not that comfortable, they have a weak spot where the wrist band mets the scooped section, and they are near impossible to get on with gloves on. But they are more robust than any other I have so far tried, the flat edges are better at scooping material from hard surfaces as well as grass, and I have so far not fouind a pair of these that are genuinely more functional: they are all flawed. if you don't use them for masses of wet leaves in every scoop they will last (in a commercial environment) for a year or two, that is more than satisfactory in my opinion.Be aware that the green ones are easily lost in autumn time!
