We are on our second egg. Nothing wrong with the first, we had just had it 3 years. The egg is brilliant. We have saved money on tons of soap, clothes are clean and don't smell of scent. Much better for the environment. Great for most washes up to 40 degrees

Very pleased with this egg!So convenient to use. Have tried various enviroment and skin friendly products that are also rated for their convenience and this has to be the easiest to use.To use : place the laundry in and sit the egg on top of the laundry, that's it!I purchased the eco egg holder so it sits in that on the machine when not in use, so all I need do is just reach and place in, also this results in no effort in drying it out in between washes.Upon first use the egg requires filling with pellets, the instructions indicate what to do but this is also a very easy process.The egg does not do well being left inside the machine in between washes, it doesn't need the holder, it can sit upright on its own on a ledge, shelf or where laundry powder or capsules are usually kept but better not being shut in a cupboard as always best with this to air out.I check if it is starting to smell a little damp each time before use, I always shake it a few times and then check again, shaking the egg tends to remove any slight dampness, if it were to remain, then placing outside or by an open window or fan would work.The scent is barely noticed on clothing, this does clean well though and great for sensitive skin, much kinder to the machine and lasts a long long time.I only use the stain remover spray on really stained garments. No softener needed, leaves clothes feeling nice.This works well on a colour care wash and have been able to wash even towels and bedding on this same wash which now means I can wash clothes in with towels and bedding too, I still seperate whites and colours.I've used this egg on industrial clothing and it did really great. This is a great price too. It not only works out way cheaper than other eco brands, it works out a lot cheaper than non eco brands too.

I have used this for 57 washes now and have found that it does get the laundry relatively clean. However some stains still persist and I have noticed that our white sheets have developed a grey tinge. We do live in a hard water area so I suppose that gives the eco ball an extra challenge. I am pleased it has no heavy washing powder smell and the washing always has a soft feel to it when dry. It is certainly very economical and environmentally friendly which is so important now. I would recommend using soap first on areas of heavy soiling, not the liquid soap, this seems to do the trick. I bought this item primarily for its cost effectiveness and also for sensitive skin.A few more weeks down the line and I have completed 72 washes. Alas, the washing has become increasingly dingy and on our work clothes, they are very grubby. I regretably have had to return to soap powder. What have I done wrong, I have reduced the load, soaked certain items and used stain remover. All to no avail I fear. I wonder if there are other customers who have had the same problem.

Thought it was a scam but at such a good price I thought I'd give it a go and surprised to see it really does work! My clothes are clean, soft and smell nice. It's been 3 months and I've not had to replace mine yet, mine is suppose to last a year. It saves me so much money as I've not had to buy any detergent or fabric conditioner. I'm someone who likes to save money but sceptical of some things that promise so much for so little but so I really like that this product actually works and so its saved me money.I got the linen one as I know I wont have a problem with that scent and I was concerned I might not like the scent of the others as I'm sensitive to some smells.I highly recommend them. I didnt buy the egg holder as I had a round small dish that use to be used for my incense burner so that works just as well. You can just leave it on top of window sill-as long as it airs to stop it getting moldy (none on my yet).I dont keep them in when tumble drying so as to not make the pellets disintegrate sooner but I'm do impressed with this product that I've brought the tumble dryer eggs.

My sister has raved about her laundry egg and so with all laundry products nearly run out i went for it and purchased one. Price is very good i think especially for something that is eco friendly. I really want to do more for the environment so this was another little step.HOWEVER......whilst the laundry egg does a good job of getting clothes clean, all stains have been removed so far, it doesn't't leave my laundry smelling fresh like fabric conditioner does. I t has no scent at all which is fine but when you are not using say bedding and towels constable you really want a scent on them fro a while. As for bedding and towels....i like to wash my children coloured bedding on a 60 wash...can't do this with an eggs like to wash my all white bedding on a 90 wash ( this is why it has stayed pristine white for over 10 yrs !!!). I can do neither of these with the laundry egg. Therefore i have still had to purchase laundry products to do bedding. Once bedding is washed i have to run the machine on a hotish wash before using the egg again !!! this week is the first week of having to do this laborious task...i will give the egg a month and if i am still not happy with it i will revoke it to my sister as a "spare ! " also, it leaves the towels without any bounce and feeling rather rough !!!

I like the smell and the lack of wrinkles.

I have used this product for years and years! I give them away as graduation gifts and house warming gifts. I tell people about it if we get on the topic of laundry. We love it! I don’t have to worry that the kids or husband is using too much soap. I don’t notice the scent, but that’s not a big deal to me. I feel my clothes come out the same clean as with using soap and it’s easier to lift and one less item in recycling.

I highly recommend this products. I have sensitive skin. In the past, I have used only natural products for my laundry. You will love the convenience and money you are saving! No packaging! Much better for our climate.For all those worried about scent and their skin, no more fear. You can barely smell anything but clean laundry. I also use XL Wool balls for the drying cycle.

premetto, sono partita scettica. Non aspettatevi chissà cosa all'inizio se: avete usato detersivi a manetta e non avete fatto una pulizia regolare della lavatrice. Perchè? perchè gli odori si trasferiscono, se la lavatrice è sporca di suo e ci infilate dentro vestiti ultra sudati e sporchi, non verranno mai puliti a meno che non ci infilate due dosi di detersivo. Però.... prima di cominciare, pulite benissimo la vostra lavatrice, i filtri, le guarnizioni. Abolite l'ammorbidente!!! niente imbratta di più di questo liquido profumatore.USO: pallina a fondo cestello con il dosatore con il calgon o altro anticalcare, vestiti senza riempire oltre il dovuto , avere l'accortezza di pretrattare macchie e sudore col sapone di marsiglia (quello vero), separare i capi scusi dai bianchi (vanno fatti separati perchè lo scuro molla sempre) e vedrete dopo almeno un mese di lavaggio dei vostri vestiti, ripeto, almeno un mese perchè i tessuti devono mollare tutti gli sbiancanti ottici per farvi sembrare il bianco più bianco, e per i capi scuri quella dosetta di plastica invisibile che ve li ha ricoperti per non fargli perdere il colore. Quindi ci vuole almeno un mese perchè i vestiti escano puliti veramente e solo con quel pretrattamento per le macchie più ostinate e consiglio per i bianchi e i capi sportivi tecnici 2 cucchiai di percarborato di sodio che aiuta il nostro ovetto a sbiancare e staccare l'odore di sudore. Tempo al tempo e vi dimenticherete di tutti i detersivi, consumi ridotti (io uso 20° x colorati e 30° x i bianchi) e capi biologicamente puliti.
