Featuring a spring-loaded tungsten tip that shatters glass with minimal force and a protected seatbelt cutter, it fits discreetly on your keychain for instant access. Made in the USA and recognized with a Gold Medal at INPEX 2004, this tool ensures you’re prepared for unexpected emergencies without added bulk. ## Description Product Description Produced in the USA the Res-Q-Me Is a modern improvement on the tried and tested life hammer design, the clever people at Nov8 have managed to fit all of the features of a life hammer in a package small enough to keep on your car keys. The Res-Q-Me is designed to break vehicle side windows and cut through jammed seatbelts in an emergency situation. The window breaker is a spring-loaded metal spike. When pressed against a side window the spring releases and the metal tip shatters the glass allowing you and your family to escape. The spike is automatically reset after use and can be reused many times. (Approximately 12 lbs. of force is required to release the spike.) The blade guard attaches to your keychain and protects against unintended use. When attached to your keychain the Res-Q-Me stays firmly in place, yet detaches easily with a sharp tug when necessary. To use the seat belt cutter, hook over the seat belt and pull. The Res-Q-Me was awarded the Gold Medal for Best Automotive Product of the year at INPEX 2004. Review: Amazing product - Hopefully I never have to use this product but in case I do, I thoroughly recommend this. I bought on 12th and arrived 15th April. It fits nicely on my keys and is not bulky at all, it is almost discreet despite being bright red. Just clip it on your keys and if needed, pull off the chain and use. I haven't tested it properly yet but have used the spring loaded pin in wood and has left a mark so it seems to work. If you want to be prepared, buy this product and save a life! Review: A Must have item. - This is a Must Have item for anyone, Wether you drive or not. I have this on my car keys and it is descret and not cumbersome. i have not had to use it in a real life situation but have run a few tests. the quick release works well and exposes the Belt cutter (cannot cut people or hands) the cutter easily cuts a Seatbelt, then theirs the punch. It is incased so is not dangerous, you need to put some pressure on the glass and then it acts like a Automatic Centre Punch, Smashing the glass and enabling a escape. Highly recommended. ## Features - Lightweight and strong plastic construction - Spring loaded tungsten tip - Perfect size for a keyring ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B005MND3FE | | Age Range Description | Adult | | Best Sellers Rank | 78,785 in Automotive ( See Top 100 in Automotive ) 161 in Escape Tools 9,092 in Keyrings & Keychains | | Brand Name | resqme | | Closure Type | Hook | | Colour | Red | | Customer Reviews | 4.5 out of 5 stars 45 Reviews | | Fit to Size Sentiment | Universal Fit | | Garment Size Country | Great Britain | | Included Components | Keyring | | Item Shape | Hammer | | Material Type | Plastic | | Number of Pieces | 1 | | Pattern | Solid | | Product Style | Tool,Modern | | Size | One Size | | Special Features | Emergency Window Breaker and Seatbelt Cutter | | Theme | Tool | | Unit Count | 1.0 count | ## Images ![ResQme Keyring rescue tool Seatbelt cutter and glass breaker (Red) - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61AOUOrXGbL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing product *by T***D on 15 April 2015* Hopefully I never have to use this product but in case I do, I thoroughly recommend this. Works every time flawlessly and a lot less dramatic than traditional methods of entry. I will be buying others to keep on my own/the wife's car keys just in case. Surely a must-have for everyone? --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/47984109-resqme-keyring-rescue-tool-seatbelt-cutter-and-glass-breaker-red](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/47984109-resqme-keyring-rescue-tool-seatbelt-cutter-and-glass-breaker-red) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-01*
