A jack convertor (stereo phono to 1/4inch jack) would be necessary **Q: I have 2x 250 watt speakers ,will this be suitable ..?** A: I expect the speakers to be able to cope with a 200 watt mixer adequately. However, if you think about the capability of the speaker size the mixer wont drive the speakers to their full potential. So as a match they will work. I am using two 75 watt speakers with mine as I blew the 100 watt head that came with the speakers (put a bass guitar into it whoops). I don't push the volume high as I don't usually need to. I hope this helps. **Q: Is this amp capable with 2 1200W speakers?** A: No and as it state 200w why would you even risk your speakers always use an amp that can supply at least the RMS power of the speaker and more if possible you will do more damage running distortion from this wimpy amp through your speakers than too much clean unclipped power. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Superb product, superb service. *by K***T on 15 July 2014* I needed something a bit special. An accoustic amplifier capable of servicing the two mics for my squeezebox, one for the foot drum and one for a friend playing fiddle, all going into a speaker cab I made years ago. Thought it was impossible until I met this puppy. Handles everything I can throw at it and really brings out the bass of the footdrum. There's nothing like it for this price on the market. Promptly delivered too..... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Awesome but.... *by C***R on 21 June 2018* Awesome bit of kit. Beware though, the instructions do not read right. It says you can plug in either 1/4" jack or speakon..You cant, it is speakon only. Next ... which is my favourite. It says you cannot plug in a guitar.....hmmmm.....well I plugged my bass guitar in to it and it work fine...if you want to plug a bass in you must turn donw the bass below half way. That way it will not distort. Anyway good things...excellent value....great sound...feels well made....very happy with it..... ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ they are not very easy to remove *by C***R on 4 March 2015* I bought this amp for use in small venue and it does the job very well. Had some initial problems with the speakon connections at the back but managed to sort them out. Initially no sound through the speakers. Leads were brand new but had to experiment with the position to get sound through. Also the connections for the speaker cables are very close together and maybe because the cables were new and tight, they are not very easy to remove.
