It stuck my embossing powders down well on a variety of different media. The most impressive was some bizarrely super-hungry black card - the embossing pen I usually use was absorbed pretty much instantly, but this sat on top and did the job really well. It's not quite *as* good as the leading brands, but it definitely stands up to it and is a fantastic alternative. I don't use mine too much, so a slightly cheaper option is really important.
