I am always worried these won't last due to growing mould from bath use and not being dried properly. However this one has been fine. This is as everywhere water can get is sealed. The lights are great and bright so you can see them underwater. She has pink in her hair, which my daughter thinks is fantastic. Its a really good mermaid Barbie and would recommend. It has survived several dunkings in the bath so I would say it is waterproof. We were a bit worried when it arrived because the tail is packaged separately but once we fitted it on it has never fallen off and does flap up and down. The lights on the tail are nice and bright and sparkly and so far we haven’t had to replace them, the ones it came with have lasted a long long time. Nothing has broken or fallen off so I am very pleased with it.
