Talk about some hot and steamy chemistry that sizzles from every page this romance is so full of it that careful handling of this book should be uppermost in reader’s minds in case of serious scorch marks left on the their libidos, unfortunately for Ethan, Noah and Hannah the relationship is not so hot due to the “between a rock and a hard place” situation and forces beyond their control which has lots of turbulent emotions flowing from the pages as well. It took me a chapter or so to get into the story and work out who was who, but after that I was totally hooked. I've only recently started to read paranormal romances, and I'm still very hit and miss with them - I either love them or hate them, and this book falls firmly onto the love side of things. This is book two in the Kagan Wolves series, but it can be read as a standalone. There is a bit of everything in this story - love, emotion, danger, intrigue, passion, suspense and some scorching hot love scenes. The storyline is exciting with many twists and turns and the main characters are complex and well developed.Ethan is a dominant in the Tanner pack who are suffering under the rule of Michael Tanner. Ethan longs to challenge Michael and take his rightful place as alpha, but in order to do this he needs a strong mate to support him and have his children. The problem is that he's never been able to mate a female, in fact he's only ever been able to mate one person - his long time lover Noah. That changes when he meets Hannah and his wolf declares his desire for her. But to be able to claim Hannah and protect his pack, he will have to give up the man he loves - or is there another, more controversial solution that will enable him to keep both of the people he loves in his life?I loved Hannah, she's a fabulous character - she's sexy, fun, feisty, strong and goes after what (or who) she wants. The chemistry between her and the two men was sizzling, they nearly set my kindle on fire! I loved the supporting characters in this book too, and I look forward to finding out more about them in future books. I'm very intrigued by Maria's situation so I'm hoping we won't have to wait long for her story. I'm very impressed by this author and the world she's created, I'll definitely be reading more of her books.
