One piece of advice, don't buy a bright coloured one. Stick to green or any dark colour. I bought a red and a yellow one and the birds wouldn't go near them. **Q: How many feeding ports are there on this feeder?** A: Four but I don't think I ever seen more than two birds on the feeder at once usually only one, I think the enclosed space is two restricting for them. Does keep the squirrels out as long as you devise extra fastening for the lid. **Q: Can the seed tube be removed for cleaning?** A: Not all the tubes can be removed. If it can't be removed, pour boiling water in and scrub with a small brush then rinse. **Q: Can I use it for meal worms** A: I do not see why not - although, as with the seeds, the very bottom layer below the seed feeder gets a bit slimey and disgusting and needs to be cleaned out. I do not know if mouldy meal worms are a hazard for wild birds? The lid has a small latch like many others. The squirrels frequently chew these open. Would be better if a tighter fit. I use a metal shackle to lock it down. I also shackle the top to a metal ring on the shed otherwise the squirrels knock them onto the ground where they often break into them. This is good value for money and easy to spot at the bottom of the garden due to its bright yellow colour. The seed container is large and dispenses well. The wild birds have visited a few times already. Very similar to other brands but significantly cheaper to buy. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Don’t buy a gold colour bird feeder. Works a treat as the blackbirds, rooks and wood pigeons can't steal from the small ones or get into the seed container. In my garden the blackbirds like to throw themselves against my other hanging feeders to spill the seeds all over the ground but this has so strong a handle, I can rest this on a branch to stop the swinging.
