The light is 6W LED. So 240v current draw is only 0.025A. Would it not even manage that safely? No earth required as the light is plastic and does not even have any way of connecting an earth wire... **Q: Does this work on hi fi speakers please** A: Yes. Works fine. In fact I have just had my first complaint from the neighbours ! **Q: Will it be ok with a 7.4v li ion battery pack** A: I would go for slightly heavier cable as this is designed for out to speakers **Q: Is this okay to use to wire an electric guitar?** A: I don’t see why not if they work on amps & speakers, but be aware the cable is copper dipped aluminum!
