It’s thick and creamy with a very gentle and small exfoliating bead. I’ve used it as a mask for 10 minutes and as a face wash but I find if my face is slightly damp it goes on easier when using as a mask as it does dry very quickly. It’s done a great job so far of cleaning my face and removing black and whiteheads. My skin does feel quite dry for the 1st minutes or so after using but then it becomes very soft. It has a slight citrusy smell that is very gentle so definitely not overpowering.
