It's a very simple device to use. Mostly I like simple omelettes so it's very quick and easy to whizz up 2 eggs, a splash of milk and a pinch of salt and pepper in a jug and pour it in. It only takes a few minutes even though I prefer to leave them in for a lot longer than the recipes say. You can put whatever you like in them though. My partner puts all sorts into omelettes. The unit heats up fast, cooks well, and cleans easily. It's a shame the hot plates can't be removed and put in the dishwasher but for the price I'm not worried.
