It explains all the particles very well, in a more complicated manner, which for some people can be a bother but for others extremely helpful. Yes, it's true the pages are yellow tinted, but not because it's old, but that being it's natural color. Considering all the pages consist of that same color, if it were to be due to it's age it would've been different. In all, I suggest you buy this, but it's always a help to know some of your basics and have something to refer to, a little jap vocab wouldn't hurt either. Edit: After some use I think it's very much worth 5 stars! Changed from 4 to 5.
