What ever it is made of it is not pure. It did not smell pure and it dyed my palms orange. **Q: I got the oil today and put it on my face after cleansing. My face is now orange, is that normal for this oil? It's not exactly ideal.** A: Personally, my partner and I have not experienced this; however, the oil is slightly orange. It could be the amount that you have applied at once I'm guessing. I use about 12 - 16 drops on my palm spread over one hand, put my hands together and move them slightly so that the oil is all over both hands but not rubbed in and then apply it to my face rubbing it in. It has only a slight scent and fortunately does not have the rancid smell which one I bought from another supplier had. This oil is a golden/amber shade, and is absorbed quickly into the skin. I find that this lubricates my skin without the need for additional facial moisturisers. So it's quite a money-saving product. The dark glass bottle protects the oil from the deleterious effects of light. I found that the dropper is efficient and only allows a couple of drops at a time which helps to avoid waste. It arrived with the Jojoba oil I'd ordered at the same time, so saved on postage. Both were well packed and arrived very quickly after ordering.
