It is non-slip and personally I wish I had known about these years ago as it has been a godsend, no more stacking baking tins on top of each other and then having to remove some to get to the one you want. You customise each of the sections to accommodate individual tins and then it is so easy to slide out and replace the tin you want to use. It is very stable and the bakeware / plates do not move by accident. The only down side for me is that it is sold in just one size and that there is no way to extend it further, which is the only down side of this.
