I did actually re-spray mine from black to the silver colour of my jaguar and they work fine, I just did a couple of light coats and dried them on a gentle heat with a heat gun. Also the description and photos show the word ‘buzzer’ for the sound device but rest assured it’s a beeping tone like all the factory fitted reverse sensors I’ve ever ‘heard’ and works brilliantly.
