Thank you.** A: Hi - in all honesty - you need to use your judgement. Say for instance - if you are using it for shirts or skirts - say approx. 1 flat scoop. Say for napkins and tablecloth 1 flat scoop and a bit more - make a note and judge on the next time you need to use it. hope this helps **Q: Can this product be used on coloured fabrics?** A: The packet only states for cotton rich fabrics, I have not tried it on colours but would if I needed. If it did leave a residue it will wash out **Q: Has anyone used this for bedding. Wanting it to stiffen bedding up so not so limp. Do you just add to the washing ?** A: No, do not add to the washing. Look for a "starch" cycle on your washing machine, should be about 20 minutes time. Do not follow the instructions for making up the starch solution as given on the packet, it will stick the compartment you use for fabric softener. My formula is, 1 heaped dessert spoonful of the starch, mixed with 2-3 desertspoonfuls of water. Stir well until you have a good suspension, add to fabric softener compartmnet when the was has finished. Re-set dial to "starch" position. When washing has spun, hang out until damp, the iron whilst damp. **Q: Can I spray it on while I iron?** A: It is an excellent product. No I have not tried with a spray bottle. Easy to use. For I item of clothing , dilute 2 spoons of starch in a bowl with little boiling water.
