I just strip-off, sit in the bath in front of mirror, clip away then have a shower straight afterwards, very easy. They do a sharp, even cut and are very easy to clean and maintain, however (and I don't know if this is the case with all clippers as these are the only ones I have owned) the blades do not last long. I've had the clippers for around 18 months and have just bought the third blade set (available from the Wahl website). The first just went blunt, now the springs in the second one are knackered. I do use it weekly but I would expect it to last slightly longer.
