But are either from new trees, so they don't have much value or have no use. So the perfume industry mix essential oil with them to give out a fragrance. The other probability could be, they are from the left over of the oud barks, and again mixed with essential oils to give different fragrances. **Q: Can it be used in exotic burner?** A: Not sure whats an exotic heater but it needs a solid heated plate or on top of coal or any source of heat. That you can place it on top and hot enough to raise the temperate to smoking point. However I found for an immediate intense smell and smoke cloud use coal though careful as it stains cielings and paintwork, But for a slower burn less hassle way use an electric burner. They give out enough heat to give you the smell rather than burn the wood.
