It is simple to install and does not leak. I left it while away on holiday for 10 days and am pleased to say that it functioned perfectly. I had one tap on a slow drip and the other hooked up to a timer (bought separately) for a daily watering. The little orange dials let you control the flow of water to just what is needed. I bought a more expensive garden water hose splitter at the same time. The more expensive one is on the garage shelf, but this simpler, more straightforward one is still in use. I find it extremely helpful to have one hose going to a sprinker and the other to a watering nozzle gun. It saves me a lot of time and hassle in disconnecting and reconnecting the hose. The material being plastic, it receives 4 starts instead of 5. I expect that it will last only a few years before needing to be replaced due to the plastic becoming more brittle and eventually developing a leak or crack.
