The size is ideal for small paintings by both adults and children ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ It’s a decent sketch pad *by T***E on 21 August 2023* I’ve come to realise that’s I need a higher mg grade of paper for my watercolour paintings. Although I’ve produced some lovely art in this book, with being a beginner, I’ve used to much water as I’ve painted and the paper grade just couldn’t hold the water very well. This results in the paper drying and raising in places where the waters sat. I think this grade is better for pencil drawing and light watercolours maybe with watercolour pencils. The paper is lovely and smooth and easy to work with it just wasn’t the right grade for my style of painting …lots of layering of water and details.
