I had a total knee replacement operation and am now trying to recover. Painfully, very painfully, I have to keep bending my knee. I had to get a bend of at least 90°, and once I reached that minimum the physiotherapist recommended that I get a pedal exerciser to help me force my knee bend further. Also for exercise, for legs and arms. And she specially mentioned this ResultSport one. I’m delighted with it. No assembly needed, just unfold it. It’s sturdy. It moves smoothly. It feels nice to handle. It’s a lovely piece of kit. Once my knee is better, I’ll definitely continue to use it for exercise. My husband rates it highly too. Don’t confuse this with flimsy cheap makes – this is a good solid quality product. Excellent. Of course I cannot comment on its longer term performance, but I’d fully expect it to continue as excellent. Thank you, ResultSport.Additional comment (6 October 2020, after 9 months my first review on 3 February 2020):I still rate this machine highly. However, note that I don’t have the tension tight, because I don’t use the machine for a workout, just to exercise my knee and associated muscles, so I cannot comment on it for mega-workout purposes. Note that the black rubber feet made significant black marks on the carpet, so it needs a mat under it; and Brucie suggested a non-slip mat for it on 2 August anyway to stop it moving when he does a big workout. Perhaps his isn’t on a carpet. Either way, a non-slip mat is a good idea. Finally I’ll add that I don’t use the foot straps because I don’t need to, instead I just use the pedals the other way up and let the proper side dangle down. It’s a good quality machine. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I'm 70 & it works *by F***0 on 30 August 2020* I needed something to aid my mobility as I have a number of health issues & I am unable to keep myself as fit as I used too. I checked out similar models on Amazon and read reviews, before purchasing and from reviews, decided on this little beauty, right choice, yea!!!There was very little setting up, open the box, remove the plastic bag from mini bike, unfolding the machine and releasing the large knob adjuster screw that tightens and loosens according to the tightness you require to turn the pedals, mine still low. This was secured by a thick elastic band to the pedal, easy to take off and place into position, check the legs have locked into place, then off you go.I have found this little machine just the job, I still have on a low setting and now manage15 minutes morning and mid PM sitting on a dining chair reading my kindle or watching TV, I started at 5 mins, and have felt the benefit in circulation in my legs and them not feeling so stiff and I am sure in time will get up to 30 mins per session every other day and then hopefully each day and may tighten for some resistance into the future, but happy were I am now.The machine does not slip, i think because i am not leaning into it, i am above it, so pressing downwards, it is very sturdy for the price paid and is helping me and that is all i wanted. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great exerciser! *by B***E on 2 August 2017* Use this machine every day, for at least 30mins. Great for low impact exercise. I am 49 & have poor mobility and these pedals make me feel active! It is very useful to be able to see how long I've pedalled and how many calories I've burnt.The machine does move along the floor which is a nuisance and needs a non-slip mat.(All the different machines say they don't move but they do!) The centre also gets very hot, enough to give you a nasty shock if you forget and touch it.It folds compactly & easily so that it an be stored neatly.Overall I am pleased with this machine and would recommend it. My friend liked mine & ordered one too.Fast delivery as always from Amazon.
