You could use Acrylics but may need to use a base undercoat first Wash all parts in mild soapy water first the allow to dry before painting. **Q: What are the dimensions of the actual product; not just the size of the box?** A: length is 18 inches, breadth is 2.3/4 inches. I don't know full height yet as I am putting r/c in it, so not yet completed **Q: What scale is the model?** A: 1.118. It's a smaller scales but very nice. Very Good parts fit. Not a difficult kit to build for an experienced modeller, but would not recommend it to a beginner, or to someone with poor eye sight, as there are some very small parts. Only one small niggle, why do Revell use this type of box with opening ends? I don't like that at all.
