Mini-Saw Attachment (670) Make precision cuts easily in wood and engineered wood. This mini circular saw makes cutting faster and easier than with a hand saw, more precise than with a jig saw and fits into hard-to-reach places you couldn’t reach with a large circular saw. The blade guard allows you to safely make the clean cuts with a thin kerf your precision projects require. Cut with full confidence. Shaping Platform Attachment (576) Improve precision and control in sanding and grinding jobs by extending your Multi-Tool with the Dremel Shaping Platform. It enables you to sharpen and sand edges at perfect 90 or 45 degree angles. The depth is adjustable up to 20 mm for a precise and straight finish. Start your sanding and grinding jobs straight away with the included sanding mandrel, sanding band and grinding stone. Work Station (220) Work with more precision with this three-in-one workstation. Make smooth and controlled holes in all kinds of materials using the workstation as a drill press. Tilt the mount sideways to double it up as a tool holder, allowing you to sand, grind and polish by running the material over the accessory with both hands. Or use the hook at the top of the pole to hang your Multi-Tool and work on your intricate work pieces with the Flexible Shaft attachment. Multipurpose Cutting Kit (565) Make consistent and controlled cuts for instaling electrical boxes, air vents, light fixtures and much more. The cutting bits easily cut into materials like drywall, laminate, fibre glass and plastic with slow movement. Mark your holes, screw the attachment onto your Multi-Tool and start cutting. Wall Tile Cutting Kit (566) Make your kitchen and bathroom renovation projects a breeze. Quicker and easier than by hand, the attachment assists you in making controlled cuts including holes and awkward shapes. Easily screw the attachment onto your Multi-Tool and start cutting. Dremel Multi-Vise (2500) With precise projects you can always use an extra set of hands. The Multi-Vise is a bench vice, a standalone clamp and a tool holder in one. Tightly clamp your object for more control when using your Multi-Tool. Or securely attach your tool to hold the project with two hands and work with more precision. Adjust the body of the Multi-Vise and have complete control over your project.

Review: Transforms a Dremel into a mini router and opens up so many possibilities! Good value. - I have been tinkering about in the garage during lock down and instead of the usual larger woodworking tasks I do, I have been messing about with craft projects. I have a full sized router permanently fixed to my work bench, but this is way too big for some of the things I have been making. I decided to try this Plunge Router Attachment to see if I could use it for some of the craft type projects I have planned. For the money, it was not a difficult decision to give it a try. I have included a video with a lot of information about the attachment and practical demonstrations. In the video I make a very simple picture frame with profiled edges and a rebate. I was impressed by the results. It is not as good as a dedicated router, but for the money it is a great way to get into routing. If you have never used a router before, prepare to transform your woodworking expectations. A router is a brilliant tool in so many ways. The attachment is not a precision instrument and has a few small issues, but it is more than capable of producing good results. If you can put up with me droning on during the video, it shows me making a small picture frame and I was impressed with the attachment. The wood I rout was used as a packing frame for a lawnmower and is very poor quality softwood. The Dremel did a fine job leaving good profiles without any real issues. The straight edge guide and circle cutting guide are good and I demonstrate these too. One thing that is not in the video and that I wished I had noticed when I was making it, was that one of the posts was loose out of the box. The posts are held in position with nuts on the base. A thread is tapped into the top of the post for a screw and washer that are used to capture the spring. I noticed that the screw and washer were loose and when I tightened the screw it began turning the post which in turn tightened the post into the nut. What a difference that made to the way the attachment felt and operated! You can kind of see the loose post in the video. It was much more precise after I did this, but even with the loose post it performed well. Dremel quality control should be picking these issues up. I think that this attachment is well worth the money. I use a very cheap set of router bits available on desertcart. I paid less than ten pounds for them. It is not worth buying expensive bits until you are certain that you will be using them regularly. If you are thinking about buying this attachment, I think it is well worth the investment. A a first step into the world of routing without too much outlay. If you enjoy woodwork, get it and give it a good try out, I can almost guarantee that it will leave you smiling!

## Questions & Answers

**Q: If anyone has used this with Dremel 4200, can you tell me if there is an easy way to change router bits or do I need to take it off the assembly?**
A: Well, I actually use my Dremel plunge router with an old B&D Wizard which to all intents and purposes is interchangeable with the Dremel. Yes I can change the router bits without disassembling the Wizard from the router. I did change the standard collet for a multichuck which I found far more useful when used without the router. However when this is used with the plunge router you have to make sure the chuck is really tightened-up to prevent the router slipping inside the chuck because of the pressure on the router when used in this way.The only thing that is a bit awkward with the Wizard is the on-and-off switch which isn't that easy to use when in the router. Not sure if any of this helps you but I hope it does!

**Q: Can this be used with the dremel lite**
A: Apologies for the delay but today was the first opportunity I’ve had to check the packaging of a Dremel 335 Plunge Router. This clearly states that it is compatible with 200/300/3000/395/398/400/4000/4200/8200 units not sure what number the ‘Lite’ but hope that helps.

**Q: Hi, will this fit my bosch gro 10.8v rotary tool? thanks.**
A: It depends on the thread at the end of your rotary tool S Ray

**Q: does anyone know if this will fit Dremel model no 300?**
A: Not shure which model 300 looks like. I use 10.5v chordless on it Fine with me

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hobbyist router at a fraction of the price.

I bought this product against some of the reviews on here, and I have to say, I've not been disappointed. I've an old 250 dremel tool and I wanted to just make some small grooves in a sheet of MDF, rather than spending £60 on a purpose built router I thought I'd just grab this attachment, and see how it fared. Now I'm using this tool for mainly inlay type work where I need a smaller, lighter tool, and I found this to be perfect for that, and having used my fathers router for some larger work too, I think I can give some sort of impression to you about the differences: The Dremel router is fine for small pieces, I've found that the small bits can heat up rather quickly, so if you're thinking of doing a larger project where you;ll need more than 15 minutes of use at a time, this is probably not going to cut it (no pun intended) But if you can stand to stop every once in a while to stop the bits burning out, this tool will offer you a good mobility and very fine lateral control. The base is large and smooth enough to glide over a (tacked on with spray adhesive!) paper template without tearing it up like my larger router did. I will note that this router attachment has a little bit more vertical play than a "proper" router, as the locks that hold the vertical position are made of plastic, the application of pressure can cause these to compress slightly, so I've noticed some of my groves are <1mm deeper in some spots - whilst noticeable, it is only barely. The user guide for the setup is a little complex I found, with all of the instructions give via images, and the labels for the images (like a key) is given on the next page, so there was a lot of flicking back and fourth (I just ended up writing them on the images) If you're actual dremel is like mine, with vents to the top (rear) of it, you might notice some sparking coming from within the tool - they won't actually jump out at you, but because this is not typically how you look at your dremel, they'll be more noticeable - this is completely normal, as any rotary tool using a motor with brushes does this. So don't worry about that :) Overall I'd say this tool would be great for a hobbyist, small to medium sized works, but you're not going to be able to easily or quickly something larger than a cabinet door (~2ft square) Also you are not going to be able to use complex routing bits, such as the ones with ball-bearings that cut more than one type of shape at once. I didn't regret this purchase, I still use a proper router for larger projects, but this offers me the unparalleled ability to get in for small detailed work without ripping tiny pieces of wood out and sparing me some chisel work :)
