I could tell though that I wasn't getting it's full potential because I had to rewire it from 1ohm to 4ohms because the cheapo boss amp couldn't handle the 1ohm load. After a couple of weeks of driving with that I decided to buy a better amp (this one) and it is a night and day difference! This one of course was able to handle 1ohm loads and it sounds twice as loud and10x as crisp. The max time I've driven with this setup so far has been about 30 minutes but I didn't have any problems of it overheating or cutting out like some of the other reviews stated. This performed like a champ and I'm thinking maybe they hooked something up wrong or gain or something was too high, IDK, like I said I'm no audio expert. Review: At the moment, dissapointing EDIT: AWERSOME - I wired this amp with 4 gauge wire for pwr and grnd, used 12 gauge speaker wire and wired my 2 10's at 2 ohms, and this amp feels like it can barely push them, i dont know why or if the wiring is off, but so far im dissapointed, honestly my 300 and 500 watt amps that i had before felt like they had more punch, will update if i find some error in my install UPDATE: got my LOC rewired and swapped out the 2 10 inch xplods for a 12 inch punch p3, AMAZING, car rattles apart with relative ease, wired at 1 ohm, dosent get too hot, sub is doing fine too. I'm by no means an audio expert but I feel for the price, this is a great amp. It all started when a buddy of mine gave me some cheap 10's and a boss amp. We installed them ourselves and I liked them but they weren't that great. I thought "well I might as well buy a decent 12" and see how I like that." I bought a Skar 12" with their enclosure and was immediately amazed at how well it performed. I could tell though that I wasn't getting it's full potential because I had to rewire it from 1ohm to 4ohms because the cheapo boss amp couldn't handle the 1ohm load. After a couple of weeks of driving with that I decided to buy a better amp (this one) and it is a night and day difference! This one of course was able to handle 1ohm loads and it sounds twice as loud and10x as crisp.
