From the manufacturer Silk Paint - Pébéo The Pébéo Setasilk range will allow you to personalise, create and renovate your silk, twill, pongee, crepe de Chine, georgette crepe, damask silk fabrics... A COLLECTION OF COLOURS The 19 Setasilk Pebeo colours will allow you to create a multitude of shades to give free rein to your creativity. Each 45 ml bottle is equipped with a pipette for optimal dosage. Miscible in them, they will allow you to extend your palette to infinity. SETASILKS GUTTA Water-based Guttas, with a thick consistency, are suitable for crimping directly into the cannula tube. They penetrate the fabric fibres perfectly, thus blocking the Setasilk colours which are then applied. The colourless water gutta is a product specially formulated to be removed with water. CUSTOMISE, RENOVATE, DECORATE SILK After applying your colours, you can easily fix them by passing an iron on the back of the fabric for 5 minutes in the cotton position without steam.

Review: Great product but have given it a 4 as you ... - Great product but have given it a 4 as you can't get a fine point on it as it relies on you cutting off the top of the tube. It would be great to have a version in a syringe style so you could squeeze the product out more easily and precisely. Having said that however, the product is functional and am please with the resistance it offers on silk.

**Q: Is this dye used to colour white silk paint for the walls looking for to change white paint into nice colour for my walls not sure what dye I have to**
A: This is not for walls if that is what you are asking. It is 20mls of outliner for painting silk fabric so you trace a design onto the fabric like a flower then you outline it with gutta then you paint the "flower" with a colour, the gutta stops the paint from running all over the fabric & keeps it in the design. 
For colouring silk wall paint you used to be able to get tints, It was in a syringe  & you just added it as much as you needed. I have not seen them lately but then I have not looked. I personally buy a small tin of a much darker colour than I want & add it slowly till you get the shade you want. Don't mx gloss with either emulsion or silk they don't mix well. Also it is lighter when it is in the tin it will look darker when it dries out. I usually try it a few times on paper & let it dry (more or less) till the shade is what I want. On paper it dries fairly quickly 10/15 mins I think. Takes a bit longer but it is worth it to get the right shade. 
Oh one last thing when you colour the tin of paint for the walls make sure you make up enough because you will be hard pushed to replicate the colour my experience is that its downright impossible to come up with the same shade again !! Good luck
