The moment you start moving it a sweepstake as to when it will fall off (never longer than 4 min BTW). I paid a little more for the Gekko Pod because I believed the claims that it is a step forward in the design of the mini-tripod; it isn't. It's only good for static use with a lightweight phone, so there a cheaper alternatives that will do just the same but are advertised more honestly.
