Thickness of bar is excellent for grabbing and the “peening” helps so they are not slippery. I bought 2 and they were installed yesterday. Super happy I didn’t go with a cheaper version. These are top quality, sturdy and well put together. Worth it!! Review: Sturdy and not slippery even when hands are wet - I got several of the stainless steel peened grab bars in different lengths. The bars felt very sturdy and did not feel slippery even when grasping with wet hands. They even looked fine with polished chrome shower fixtures. ## Features - SUPPORTIVE DESIGN: Bathroom grab bar supports up to 500 lbs when installed in a stud or when using SecureMount anchors (not included) - EASY INSTALLATION: Shower grab bar mounts to shower wall stud for an easy installation - PEENED: Features a textured slip-resistant finish - SIZE: 16-Inch bar length with 1.25-Inch bar diameter - ADA COMPLIANT: Complies with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) specifications - DURABLE CONSTRUCTION: Moen bathroom safety grab bars have stainless steel construction for added durability ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B0053H4NNA | | Best Sellers Rank | #62,218 in Health & Household ( See Top 100 in Health & Household ) #75 in Bath & Shower Grab Bars | | Brand | Moen | | Brand Name | Moen | | Color | Peened | | Customer Reviews | 4.8 out of 5 stars 602 Reviews | | Finish Types | Stamped | | Global Trade Identification Number | 00034584017833 | | Included Components | Grab Bar, Installation Instructions, Mounting Hardware | | Item Dimensions L x W | 16"L x 19.25"W | | Item Type Name | Bathroom Safety 16-Inch Textured Grip Stainless Steel Bathroom Grab Bar | | Item Weight | 13.76 ounces | | Manufacturer | Moen Incorporated | | Manufacturer Part Number | R8716P | | Manufacturer Warranty Description | Limited Lifetime Warranty | | Material | Stainless Steel | | Material Type | Stainless Steel | | Model Number | R8716P | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Product Dimensions | 16"L x 19.25"W | | Style | Home Care Collection | | Style Name | Home Care Collection | | UPC | 034584017833 | | Unit Count | 1 Count | | Weight Capacity | Minimum weight: 500 pounds | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Moen - **Color:** Peened - **Item Weight:** 13.76 ounces - **Material:** Stainless Steel - **Product Dimensions:** 16"L x 19.25"W ## Images ![Moen R8716P Bathroom Safety 16-Inch Textured Grip Stainless Steel Bathroom Grab Bar, Peened - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/51pjCIgCmEL.jpg) ![Moen R8716P Bathroom Safety 16-Inch Textured Grip Stainless Steel Bathroom Grab Bar, Peened - Image 2](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71guP4sk4ML.jpg) ![Moen R8716P Bathroom Safety 16-Inch Textured Grip Stainless Steel Bathroom Grab Bar, Peened - Image 3](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/71wyrbAR7jL.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Top quality - don’t go for the cheaper versions *by F***S on August 28, 2025* Perfect! Thickness of bar is excellent for grabbing and the “peening” helps so they are not slippery. I bought 2 and they were installed yesterday. Super happy I didn’t go with a cheaper version. These are top quality, sturdy and well put together. Worth it!! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Sturdy and not slippery even when hands are wet *by A***R on February 20, 2026* I got several of the stainless steel peened grab bars in different lengths. The bars felt very sturdy and did not feel slippery even when grasping with wet hands. They even looked fine with polished chrome shower fixtures. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love the textured handled *by M***M on September 7, 2026* This is a fantastic shower bar. It's not too big or short, but best it is textured, so if you grab it with soapy hands you do not slide. This is a great purchase for anyone, such a great idea even if you are young! --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/4806379-moen-r8716p-bathroom-safety-16-inch-textured-grip-stainless-steel](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/4806379-moen-r8716p-bathroom-safety-16-inch-textured-grip-stainless-steel) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-15*
