They wash and wash and haven't lost colour at all, the throw fits lovely on my kingsize bed and again the quality is superb! I've had to wash it four times thanks to a little chihuahua who decided to be sick on my nice new bedding but it's washed amazingly well each time it's gone in my machine. I loved it so much I bought two of the three available matching pillows which are also fab quality. It's really lifted my bedroom and it looks like a different room, my friends have commented on how classy my room now looks. Both duvet cover and throw are reversible so you'll never get bored! Honestly I can't recommend this enough, it's bright and cheerful on a dull day, it's fab quality and would look good in a modern home or a quaint little cottage. I bought this after needing a change to brighten up my bedroom, this is gorgeous! Well, I was VERY surprised when I opened this up...I was convinced I had ordered the bedspread! Anyway, I was really pleased with the look and quality of the double duver cover and pillow slips. I followed the instructions and gave them a quick, cool wash before first use and dried them in the tumble dryer on low as advised. They came out nice and soft and the colours remained nice and bright following washing. The duvet cover has pop fasteners which are easy to open and close. I love the bold, bright print on both sides of the cover and pillow cases, and I can fit my puffy pillows in the cases with no trouble. I now have the bedspread in my wish list, so it shouldn't be too long before I can complete the set.
