**Q: on first day, my smart dumb cat learned to knocked the whole thing over to save time... how can I keep this thing from getting knocked over?**
A: I discouraged my Phoebe from that quickly learned trick by cutting the right-sized circle from the box it came in, covered it with packing tape for waterproofing (just in case) and used a bit more tape to secure it, but so I coul easily refill from the top. She stopped her gymnastics trick soon after and the toy did a brilliant job of putting the brakes on her scarf & barf eating style.

**Q: Where is this product made?**
A: The manufacturer is Hagen, which is a US company, but they also have outlets in other countries, exactly where it is made is hard to ascertain.

**Q: Is it dishwasher safe?**
A: Sorry to take so long, the issue was the manufacturer Hagen has nothing on the packaging about this. From what we can find on the internet it is dishwasher safe. We have contacted Hagen and if they reply any differently we will let you know.

**Q: Does this work for declawed cats?**
A: I would say yes. My cat isn't declawed but I never saw him use his claws while using it, he typically tips it over or just kind of cups his paw to get the treats/food!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Hours of fun for cats and cat watchers.

The cats took a look at this and wondered what was going on. When the biscuits went in they had a sniff and look. Then the bigger cat grabbed it, pulled it over it sort of twanged and threw biscuits all over, once they recovered from the shock they pigged out on the biscuits. After that they settled down to use the tower normally. The younger and smaller cat steadied herself and ate the biscuits out of the top until she couldn't reach them, the old cat tried that but his head was too big to fit the space and had to do it properly. The two cats have different methods for getting the biscuits out, but both methods are hugely entertaining to watch. It's so much fun to watch we have the tower in the living room in front of the telly, as they're usually more entertaining eating their biscuits than the offerings on the TV. On a practical note the tower is easy to assemble, it's easy to clean, and the cats like it. They seem to like the rubber pad round the base. The downside is large cats may struggle to get their head in the trough at the bottom, but they soon work out to use a paw to scoop the biscuits out onto the mat. The cats are much less messy with this than they were with a bowl and they only eat biscuits when they want some, and they have to work for it to get them. I am impressed with the simplicity of the product, and I believe the cats are very happy with their biscuit tower and the fun it provides for them in getting a treat to eat.UPDATE: Sadly due to divorce I no longer have my two cats, however, I am getting a new cat and given how impressed I was with this item the first time it was the very first thing I ordered for my new cat. The quality is excellent, the design simple, easy to clean, practical, and entertaining for the cat and for anyone watching the cat.

This has to be one of the best pet products I've bought. Keep my twin kittens entertained. Even if Miss Harmony has figured out that shaking it will release the food easier.

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great idea, needs modification to work perfectly

The idea is fantastic and stops our cats from eating their meals too fast as well as providing them with grazing and entertainment throughout the day. However, we found that one of our cats (who is really quite small, only 3.2kg) found a couple of design flaws:1/ The hole at the top is large enough to stick his head through2/ With the anti-slip mat on, due to a high centre of gravity and lightweight base, it was very easy to knock over. Without the slip mat it just kept skidding away from him and he couldn't get any food!However, with a few bits we had lying around, we solved these problems and even made the product continue to look nice! Our steps were:1/ Glue the maze and base together2/ Turn it upside down and fill the base with quick-dry cement (this is super cheap). Put a flat surface over the cement while it's wet and then quickly turn it all right-side up again so that the cement sets flat3/ After the cement has begun to set, turn it upside down again and take off the surface so that the cement dries faster4/ Get a decent size floor tile (we had a few left over from doing our shower room), place the maze on top (right side up!) and use clear or white mastic to seal the edges and fix the maze on the tile; this both made it look better and made it easier to protect our floor. Using mastic also meant that it's still really easy to keep clean, too.5/ Put floor protectors on the bottom of the tile.That may sound over-the-top, but it only took about twenty minutes of my actual time and all the required pieces were super cheap. Most importantly, the cats love it and I can watch them use it and go "awwww"!
