## Questions & Answers

**Q: Is this sticky tape? I keep buying the non adhesive crepe tape by accident.**
A: You are not alone. Students in my group did the same thing. The crepe stretchy tape is used for binding stem etc in buttonhole work. What you need is often called 'pot tape' and is tough, shiny and very sticky tape. The sticky side is usually white. For example the Florist Green 9mm pot tape available from Amazon. (Could be called Oasis pot tape)

**Q: is this suitable for securing a string of fairy lights to decorative twigs/branches?**
A: Pot tape could be used as it metal free and reasonable pliable but is a very strong tape usually used to secure floral foam to containers A better bet might be a softer, more pliable tape such as that used for buttonhole work This tape is thinner and stretchy. Two types are available one a paper, crepe, variety, the other a thin stretch plastic. Both available from Oasis and Amazon. (and other outlets.)

**Q: I still haven’t received my refund for this item**
A: What Item? I have never had a problem with Amazon

**Q: waterproof tape**
A: Yes, it's waterproof.

Really good

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Strong, sticky tape.
*by A***R on 25 March 2026*

The tape is very strong and does stick the oasis to the pot very well. The tape reel is extremely tacky on the edges. I’m keeping it in a plastic bag so as not to make everything else sticky. Saying that, it does a good job.
