My son will be 6months when travel.** A: Hello our son was 10 kilos when we were going to use this and he was too heavy at that time. In the end we didn’t use it. **Q: My baby will be 6 months old when we go on a 9 hour flight - will he be too big for this? It doesn't state an age anywhere** A: I don't know. I considered but didn't buy one of these because it attached to the seat in front of you. You have no idea who that might be, a toddler jumping about, or someone leaning all the way back in their seat. On the flip side, my six month old baby boy was very wiggly which I thought might not be nice either for the person sitting in that seat. Instead, I bought the Skybaby which attached the baby to my seat belt but supported him if I needed my hands free and I could still lower my tray table. We had 8 and 10 hour flights. **Q: What is the maximum weight to use the flue baby? My son will be 6months when travel.** A: I’m not certain the weight limit although I used it for my 3 month old and he was too tall. Imagine the space you get between the seats on the flight, barely anything, so now imagine trying to fit a baby seat in between your lap and the seat in front, which may tilt back. Also you might need your tray table. It’s a great idea in theory but I’ve yet to take a flight where a baby could actually fit in it. If you’re on a long haul they give you a bassinet or baby seat anyways and for short haul by the time you work it out the flight is over. **Q: What weight and age is this recommended for?** A: I'm not sure what age is recommended, but we used it for a 3 month old who weighed 10lb 5oz and it was perfect. ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5.0 out of 5 stars Just as anticipated, good. *by R*** on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 7 March 2023* Good quality and just as promised. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ 4.0 out of 5 stars Four Stars *by M***S on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 12 November 2017* Good! ### ⭐ 1.0 out of 5 stars USELESS *by A***T on Reviewed in the United Kingdom on 17 August 2018* Useless because it’s not even fitting to the front chair as it shows plus you need emergency exit as legs room are so tiny on the planes. --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/48085918-infant-airplane-seat-flyebaby-airplane-baby-comfort-system-air-travel](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/48085918-infant-airplane-seat-flyebaby-airplane-baby-comfort-system-air-travel) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-21*
