I used mine on damp, freshly washed hair and with a wide tooth comb after I spray it on. Works great. It's also a good detangler. For fine hair, it's important not to put stress on the hair or it'll break easily. **Q: Can you put this on wet hair to dry naturally without it being crispy or have a wet look** A: if you scrunch your hair after it dries it should be good! **Q: Can I use this for a vintage look with rollers?** A: I wouldn’t recommend this product for rolling and setting your hair for a vintage look. I do this regularly and what you need is something with a “setting” element as this penetrates the hair shaft and creates the look you are wanting to achieve. I recommend the “lottabody” mousse which is available on Amazon. It is conditioning: apply to barely damp (not completely dry) hair to avoid frizz.
