RCi Series In-Wall Speakers deliver incredible Polk sound to every room in your home without using any floor or shelf space! Now you have new options for more flexibility and performance from Polk Audio. Out of the box and into the wall (or ceiling), that’s how easy it is to install new Polk Audio RCi Series In-ceiling Loudspeakers like the RC60i. Dynamic Balance drivers and aimable tweeters ensure spacious imaging with amazing clarity in addition to a well-balanced sound in any listening position, not just a small "sweet spot." Paint them to match your decor and they practically disappear, leaving you with nothing but high-performance sound! Installation is easy as 1-2-3: cut one hole, feed the wires, and simply drop the speaker in. Rotating Cams secure the speaker safely with no extra assembly or mess. Klipple motor optimization uses laser measurement technology to ensure a smooth excursion path at either end of the volume spectrum for uniform performance at both low and high volumes.

Review: Great quality ceiling speakers. - Having redesigned my living room it meant I could no longer use the large bulky freestanding speakers I use for the rear 5.1 surround sound system I have and I needed an alternative. I decided ceiling mounted speakers might be the answer. Quick check on line and these are rated as some of the best you can get, so I bought a set. Installation really was easy once I identified where the ceiling joists were. The speakers come with templates so I offered them up and drew the speaker hole onto the plasterboard. I then drilled a pilot hole then used a plaster hand saw to cut the holes out. Nice and easy. I used an electricians fishing rod pole kit to feed the speaker wire through to the speaker from a hole I had drilled near the wall. Connecting the wires to the speakers is easy as they have push contacts. You then offer the speaker up and using a small philips bit in a drill slowly tighten the 4 mounting screws up. This pulls a self locking peg out and tightens the speaker against the ceiling. The speaker really does sit very flush to the ceiling and you dont really notice it. Sound quality after I did a re-calibration on my Pioneer amp is really quite impressive, certainly well worth the money. i just wish id bought another set now to add 2 middle speakers to the system... i may still do.
Review: Excellent, very pleased indeed - Bought 2 sets of these and tested them whilst not in the ceiling as I was waiting for the ceiling to be done and they sounded okay. Now the ceiling is done, I am very surprised how good they sound. They are very limited bass wise, but that is to be expected which is why I also bought a Sub Woofer. So with these speakers and my Sub, I have a very nice sound in my kitchen diner now, so very pleased indeed Installation was very easy, and they look great and all my mates that have been round think they both look and sound excellent.

**Q: what are the mounting depths required for the 6.5" and 8" speakers?**
A: Hi,
The RC60i need a 193.7mm cut out and have a depth of  73mm... the RC80i need a cut out of 238.1mm and mounting depth of 79.4mm ... kind regards Ceiling Speaker world

**Q: I know similar questions have been asked, but has anyone connected 4 of these speakers to a sonos connect amp in parallel?**
A: Yes, it works great. Add a bass speaker too and it really rocks!

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Very good - so I bought another pair for the bathroom. Easy to install too.

I bought these for the kitchen and had them professionally installed. Some months later I bought a 2nd pair for the bathroom and did a DIY job. VERY easy to install in a plasterboard ceiling (drill around the supplied templates and finish with a small platerboard saw). Remove grill, insert in ceiling and drive 4 screws home on the lugs to locate in ceiling. Replace grill. Job done. Performance is very good in the kitchen and bathroom - although probably a bit too big for the bathroom. At the price probably the best you can get. I'm not sure spending any more would give better quality for this type of speaker.
