I know you can use it on grey board the thickness for book covers. You can use it on tin leather etc but i personally have not used it on mount boards . **Q: Hello. Is this item authentic or a copy? Even the 1/4 inch side doesn't cut perfectly and I often have to file it afterwards with a nailfile. And... it ain't cheap either! I specifically bought this tool as WRM Keepers' tools seem to be good quality. I have the WRM Keepers' big bite crop-a-dile which works perfectly, even after 8 years of quite extensive use. **Q: Will it cut through 600gsm card? If you loved the Cropadile, you'll love this. ### ⭐⭐⭐ Takes some getting used to *by K***R on 12 August 2020* I bought this item as I wanted a corner rounder that was robust enough to deal with a lot of sheets of paper and as I already have the WRMK eyelet setter and hole punch I gravitated towards this. It is a good solid piece of kit and should last a long time. However, as with the eyelet setter I found that one has to practice a little. I found a couple of videos on YouTube and they gave me valuable clues... the 'wings' at the side of the top part have to be opened fully - you can open them a part way but you need to push them until you hear them 'click' into place; then it's open far enough to get your corner in. Push the cardstock or whatever in fully but don't push too far - make sure the cardstock stays level. Squeeze the handles firmly and not too slowly. Phew! The 1/4" side works more easily than the 1/2" side but they do both work, albeit after a bit of practice. Happily it will chomp several sheets of paper at once as long as they're lined up properly with each other. I would say that it's worth the money if you want to round a lot of corners, as I do for Traveller's Notebook inserts.
