Plasti Dip is an air dried flexible liquid matt coating for use on virtually anything!Plasti Dip resists alkaline, acids, salts, moisture, abrasion, and most chemicals, and is an insulating dielectric coating.It will not crack, chip or peel, and will remain flexible even under severe conditions (-34ºc to +93ºc).Plasti Dip can be dipped, brush coated and sprayed (spraying requires the use of thinners (up to 50%, upto 10% for top coats (Enhancers). Add more layers for greater protection and grip.WOOD: Seals and protects from weathering, and prevents splitting.METAL: Reduces vibration, deadens sound, and prevents corrosion.GLASS: Shatter proofs glass objects (available in clear).Also... **Q: Is this suitable to dip plier jaws in so they have a rubber / plastic layer to protect the thing I am gripping (metal wire) to avoid damaging it.**

A: Hello, many thanks for your enquiry - yes you would need to use Primer first if using on MDF.  You would need to either use a soft bristle brush or alternatively, use the aerosol can?

**Q: Can this be used on the soles of trianers to fill in the greips to make them flat ?**
A: I don’t think it would work. I used it for a totally different purpose and it did not cover a flat surface at all well. It’s consistency was thin and when dry wasn’t that flexible. It failed to stick to a flat clean solid Matt plastic surface

**Q: What’s the difference in colour between blue and flex blue ?**
A: Hello, many thanks for your email - the Blue is RAL 5007 and the Flex Blue is RAL 5010 - hope this helps :-)

### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Difficult to open the lid but product works

Difficult to open the lid but product works. I struggled to unscrew the lid and ended up prizing it off with a screwdriver. I used it to coat the metal clamping surfaces of some F style clamps and it worked well for this task. Time will tell as to how long it lasts but overall, this is a decent product.
