It had the consistency of a thin pva glue, but the coverage was excellent and stayed where I put it, no drips or pools or splatter. It dries very quickly, which is important when you've got a house full of geriatric dogs who keep bumbling into everything! Touch dry in 15 minutes is actually accurate, and was applying the first coat of paint over the primer in less than an hour. The smell isn't great, but with the windows open it wasn't too unpleasant. Review: Amazing at covering odour - I bought this after reading it was good at covering odours from floorboards. My dog was weeing on one part of the carpet, without me realising until I smelled it. I ripped up the carpet to replace and the pee was on the floorboards. Thought I was going to have to replace them too. I used an enziyme spray, sanded the area, and painted this on top. Very quickly dried and no more dog pee smell. Amazing stuff. (Not damp but must be bits where there had been repairs to the wall and the paint dried differently). This primer reduced the patches but did not elimiate them. I have also used it on some ikea style shiny furniture and for this it is GREAT! Very watery needs a slow and careful approach to painting if you slap it on it gets everywhere. But dries super fast! Took way longer to be delivered than it said online.
