1Kg Block of Melt and Pour Soap Base Goat's Milk Ideal for adding your own favourite scent, making as gifts for other people etc. Melt and Pour Goats Milk Soap Base contains vitamin rich Goats milk which provides moisturizing benefits. This Glycerin Soap Base is ALL VEGETABLE OIL and contains no alcohol or harmful products to dry your skin! Glycerin, a natural emollient, draws moisture out of the air to benefit skin health. It cleanses without stripping or upsetting the delicate natural pH balance necessary for soft, healthy skin. And, since we do not use animal oils, our soap rinses clean and leaves no soapy film behind. All our soap bases are produced from the highest quality double distilled and deodorized coconut oil, forming luxurious lather and sparkling clarity. Please note that the Goats Milk Soap may not lather as well as other soap bases. This is due to a natural chemical process and it does not undermine the effectiveness of the product. Usage: A 1Kg block can make between 10 - 20 soaps, depending on the size of the soap you’re trying to make. Features: Highly moisturizing formula. No artificial colours added. No animal testing. Review: Lovely moisturising soap - Good moisturising soap. I have used several different melt and pour bases from Stephenson range. I have been pleased with all of them. This time I decided to try the goats milk one. I purchased this for my 5yr old granddaughter to make Christmas gifts, she absolutely loved making the soaps using silicone moulds. Obviously I did the melting part using a jug in the microwave, my granddaughter then chose to mix some organic lavender flowers into the mixture before she poured it into her chosen moulds. We had to return it to the microwave a couple of times as it does soon begin to set, however we did not consider this to be an issue especially considering the joy and satisfaction she got from making her gifts.

Please be advised that no this is not an organic soap base.
Organic means the product has been produced without the use of chemical fertilizers, pesticides, or other artificial chemicals.

A: store them in waxed paper and keep them in a cool place

A: It is vegetable based.

**Q: Can you melt this without using a microwave?**
A: I just put it in a pot
Be careful it will bubble a lot, microwave in Pyrex is best option

Good moisturising soap. I have used several different melt and pour bases from Stephenson range. I have been pleased with all of them. This time I decided to try the goats milk one. I purchased this for my 5yr old granddaughter to make Christmas gifts, she absolutely loved making the soaps using silicone moulds. We used this melt and pour goat’s milk soap base earlier today and it was great. It melted smoothly, was easy to work with, and set nicely without any issues. The finished soap feels lovely and looks really good, which is always reassuring when you’re trying something like this. It didn’t have any odd smell and took colour and fragrance well, making the whole process straightforward and enjoyable. If you’re making soap at home and want something easy to use with good results, this is a solid choice and we’d happily use it again.
