The original that came fitted on the shaver lasted 7 years, so I'll be happy if the replacement lasts 5 years. TBH, these things seem very expensive for what they are, but I guess they have to be manufactured with high precision to very tight engineering tolerances to work as well as they do. One way to look at it is that spread over 7 years, it works out at about 1p per shave, so perhaps I should stop bitching about it. All makes and models seem roughly equally as expensive, so price certainly doesn't count against this product. Review: Shaves like when the razor was brand new - The difference between the old, worn out head and the replacement is stunning. I now have a closer, complete shave in less than half the time. I was thinking I was going to have to buy a new razor and was reluctant to pay the high price of the Series 3 32B head. However, it is worth every penny. And more so if it lasts the suggested 18 months after which I should have changed the old head.
