Not for kitchen cabinets, but for a job where I wanted minimum protrusion into a cupboard where a standard nut and bolt would look unsightly. Fitting these in looked neat and tidy, They were used to clamp a top-box to a cupboard to prevent movement and needed a low profile, to prevent damage to items placed in the box. Both the threads and screwdriver slots were well finished and fitted well.
