Pure Pond 500ml is ideal for ponds up to 10,000 Litres. For best results use Pure Pond as part of your regular pond maintenance. Add Pure Pond to your filter once a month, or as necessary, to help remove ammonia and nitrite. Add Pure Pond when needed to improve pond water clarity. Add Pure Pond when starting up a new filter, or if you need to increase biological activity. Pure Pond can be added to most pond filters. Place the balls in a position where it is least likely to escape into your pond. Use a filter bag or similar if necessary. Pure Pond is designed to improve water clarity and quality when it is affected by organic waste, not algae related issues that cause green water. Directions 1. Add the Pure balls to the system each month. 2. Place the black Pure Pond balls directly into the filter. I don't know if the light would be enough, but have been using Pure Pond since it came on the market. My pondwater is always crystal clear, and I swear by this product. Don't know if the UV light alone would give such brilliant results. Hope this helps! **Q: Probably a dumb question but would this be alright to use in a smaller external filter for an aquarium?** A: 100% yes it is safe and beneficial for freshwater aquariums and can be used in all types of filters.Don't waste money on the aquarium version as you will get the same bacteria, less balls and pay much more.I sell filter media online (Biohome) and have been giving these balls away with all the media for years to help to seed the media. In new systems it helps to iron out any ammonia and nitrite spikes which would otherwise be associated with an establishing tank and filter.Just make sure to use good porous filter media which will support a good population of bacteria or the bacteria released from these balls will mostly be lost to water changes. Once media is mature you should not need to add any more balls unless you do major filter maintenance. **Q: How long dose it take to work ?** A: Should see a difference in a week but depends on how your filters and bio system are working **Q: how often can I use this product?** A: As often as you like you cannot overdose this product, but I usually use it when I clean out my filters usually every 4 weeks ## Frequently Bought Together - Evolution Aqua Pure Pond 500ml - Evolution Aqua Pure Pond Bomb – for Crystal Clear Healthy Water, Treats up to 20,000 litres - CrystalClear PondShock Ball, Natural Enzymes & Live Bacteria, Freshwater Clarifier Shock Treatment, Muck & Sludge Remover for Small Pond & Outdoor Water Garden Ponds, Koi Fish & Aquatic Plants Safe --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - πŸ›’ **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** β€” Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** β€” Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - πŸ’° **No Hidden Fees** β€” All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - πŸ”„ **15-Day Free Returns** β€” Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - πŸ”’ **Secure Payments** β€” Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** β€” Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.tn/products/48141328-pure-pond-beneficial-bacteria-for-ponds-pond-bacteria-treatment-healthy](https://www.desertcart.tn/products/48141328-pure-pond-beneficial-bacteria-for-ponds-pond-bacteria-treatment-healthy) --- *Product available on Desertcart Tunisia* *Store origin: TN* *Last updated: 2026-10-02*
