To make air dry clay mugs?** A: I don't think so. It's water resistant but not waterproof **Q: Will this help to strengthen?** A: It might strengthen a little depending what the project is and how many coats are applied. **Q: How thick?** A: Almost the thickness of a glue looking at it in the tub, however when applied with a brush, being careful not to overwork it, it isn't too thick, quite runny really, would possibly need 2 coats depending on what you are using it for. Hope this helps? **Q: I applied this to air dried clay and it bubbled. What am I doing wrong?** A: You may have applied it too thick. I apply mint thin as poss. With an acrylic brush. Just enough to see where the glue is. One cost should be enough but if required you can apply further costs but let them dry in between costs. Get. Damp cloth and as long as the glue is semi dry you’ll be able to remove slit of the glue. Spreads well ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Deco Art Triple Thick Brilliant Brush-On Gloss Glaze 8oz *by Q***A on 21 June 2026* This is a pretty decent glaze, I have bought it a few times now to glaze paper crafts. This is easy to use and because it is thick does not need multiple coats to achieve a good coverage and it self levels which is useful. The glaze touch dries quickly, with a clear colour, and is fully cured in 24 hours. Clean up is easy because it is water based so you can just wash your brush with soap and water. It doesn't smell bad, just a bit like PVA glue. It seems to be durable, but I have not seen how it stands up to any great length of time so far. I fear some things appear to have started to yellow a little so I will avoid using this on lighter colours going forward and will experiment to see if this is a paper issue or the glaze. Price point at time of purchase was reasonable, there are better products at higher and lower cost but you need to assess what you want it for.
