Material is thinner than I anticipated. But it's a good size, packaged well and arrived promptly. It's well made and looks like it will withstand a good bit of pulling by kids and cat but is a thin single layer it's not at all padded or anything although if you have the time/enthusiasm you could add wadding and another sheet of fabric to it to make it more substantial. For the price it's great.
