The float is the big plastic piece and its position can be adjusted. This inlet valve would normally replace an inlet valve with ball float, given that the basin dimensions can accommodate it. **Q: Is the inlet 1/2"bsp (21mm) or is it 3/8" bsp (16.67mm)?** A: It says on the inlet float valve it`s 1/2in.. 15mm plastic. **Q: What’s the outside diameter of the bottom screw thread part?** A: I`d say a Quarter of an inch.
