I did mix it with a tiny bit of Adore pink dye but it still came out like this. To get the proper tones of this colour you want either blonde hair or bleached blonde hair or it won't show more than a faint, mildly red tone and it will NOT leave any hints on medium brown or dyed hair. This colour is easy to apply, it doesn't have any strong chemical smells (it doesn't smell) you can seal it over and use it again. Put it on and leave it for the longest application to really let the colour soak in and then rinse it out with slightly warm or cool water (so as not to strip it out) and you're okay. I do want to mention that with brighter colours you shouldn't be using strong shampoo, washing your hair more than once or twice a week, using warm water (warm-ish) is okay or using lots of heat products because they will IMMEDIATELY remove the colour. That is the case for semi or permanent dyes regardless. My hair is bleached to a slightly gingery colour and when I put this on it really came out a beautiful vivid red, a lovely tone for very pale skin with cool tones in it. I recommend crazy color hair dye for that. **Q: Are the dyes vegan? I’ve seen they’re not tested on animals but do they contain any animal derivatives?** A: From Stargazer website: " Is our Range Vegan friendly? We have recently (early 2015) had an assessor look at which one of our products we could note as being Vegan. The results showed that due to Lanolin and Beeswax that none of our products are vegan. After this we instructed our manufacturing branch (Star Colour Laboratories), to manufacture our products to be vegan friendly. However this will take a very long time for us to say our products are actually vegan as we sell through the old model." As far as I can tell from the ingredients list on my bottles, there's no lanolin or beeswax listed, but I'm not personally going to guarantee their vegan.
