**Q: Will it work in the winter when it gets below 0 degrees?**
A: I've had times it has gotten to -25 F and it still worked without any issues. The biggest problem I have had with the colder weather is when the wind blows strong enough to pop the door open.

**Q: How long is the power cord? Doed the transmitter have a magnet?**
A: The power cord is not very long maybe a foot or two.  I installed in under my kitchen cabinets on the wall and plugged it into the outlet right next to it.  It is out of the way visually but easy to get to for resetting the notification after the mail arrives.  The receiver unit is small and lightweight and looks like high quality.  The transmitter can be mounted with the included hardware or by a double sided adhesive tape that comes with the package.  I was concerned about the tape but ended up using it and it has held up well.  I couldn't be more happy with this thing.  My mailbox is about 100 feet from the house and it picks up perfectly.  It has made getting the mail so much easier by not having to make multiple runs down to the mailbox.  I liked it so much that I bought another one for my mother as well. A: It buzzes for about 15-30 seconds and stops.
