Review: Outstanding, locally-produced and packed tea - I almost never leave reviews (no time!) but for this wonderful tea from wonderful people it's an absolute pleasure. I wanted a premium product and that's exactly what I got. They ship the tea vacuum-packed and provide a zip-lock bag for storage after opening, and even a sticker to show what's in the bag: amazingly thoughtful! The special feature of Darjeeling is that you can steep the leaves 3 or possibly 4 times... I use a 'tea ball': they are not expensive and are very easy to use. The second and third steepings give the best flavour, so as you enjoy the first cup, you just know that the next two will be even better! Depending on the size of cup, you can push on to a fourth. This makes a premium Darjeeling much better value than the price per 100g suggests! Best of all, Vahdam are a business local to their product: buying from them directly supports the economy in the tea-growing region throughout the supply chain. Love it, love it, love it.

I almost never leave reviews (no time!) but for this wonderful tea from wonderful people it's an absolute pleasure. I wanted a premium product and that's exactly what I got. They ship the tea vacuum-packed and provide a zip-lock bag for storage after opening, and even a sticker to show what's in the bag: amazingly thoughtful!
